What is Whiplash?
Whiplash is described as a range of soft tissue injuries to the neck, shoulders and /or back.
Whiplash may also be described as a sudden strain to the muscles, bones and nerves.
Symptoms include pain/aching in your neck, back and / or shoulders. You may also experience pins and needles in your arms and / or legs. You may experience headaches. If you have suffered a whiplash injury you may be entitled to make a claim.
Symptoms can appear immediately following the accident or are often not felt for days afterwards. Your GP or Hospital Doctor will diagnose your injury.
Injury to the neck and / or back may be crippling and pain appears to be the biggest problem in daily living. As a result it is important to begin rehabilitation immediately to prevent future pain. If adequate treatment and rest is not taken until the injury is fully healed it can grow into a chronic pain.
We can approach the other party’s insurance company and request that they fund your treatment. The insurance company can either arrange the treatment or meet the cost of private physiotherapy treatment on your behalf.
